Reserve and National Guard personnel who served at Camp Lejeune during the period Aug. 1, 1953, through Dec. 31, 1987 will be eligible for the same coverage as their active duty comrades.
The original law authorized a presumptive nexus for Veterans stationed aboard Lejuene during that period and their dependents for 15 conditions including:

The new ruling expands coverage, including Kidney Cancer, Liver Cancer, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, Leukemia, Multiple Myeloma, Scleroderma, Parkinson’s Disease, Aplastic Anemia and Myelodysplastic Syndromes.
The VA is not yet prepared to grant any presumptive claims grounded in the new conditions but is encouraging Veterans to begin filing pending the actual regulations. Let’s get those 21-0966 forms fired up and submitted folks. Contact your service officers for more information.
